The history of Flower Essences can be traced back many thousands of years with many cultures using Flower Essences to treat emotional health and wellbeing. We are once again beginning to understand that emotional wellbeing is a major component of good health in the whole person.
Flower Essences have been described as vibrational therapy and are used the world over to help manage the emotional demands of everyday life. Flower Essences can be used by the whole family including your pets — they are pure and natural.
In addition to using the famous British range of Flower Remedies discovered by Dr. Edward Bach, I have studied with a range of Flower Essence producers from all over the world including Steve Johnson of the Alaskan Flower Essence Project and Ian White of The Australian Bush Flower Essences. I maintain an extensive repertoire of Flower, Gem and Environmental Essences — this allows me to offer a more comprehensive approach.
Individual formulations are easily available on request.
What is in them?
An essence is the energy imprint of something therapeutic, held and preserved in pure water. They are best described as a kind of ‘liquid energy’.
What do they do?
Essences act as a catalyst to return our energy back to its original state of harmony. They restore our natural frequency.
How do you take them?
Essences are taken as droplets placed under your tongue or in water, usually 3 to 4 times daily. They are often taken singly, but several essences can be mixed together in combinations if required. They can also be incorporated into body creams and lotions, used in the bath or misted into the atmosphere.
How do they work?
‘They (essences) cure, not by attacking the disease, but by flooding our bodies with the vibrations of our higher nature, in the presence of which disease melts away as snow in the sunshine.’ (Dr. Edward Bach)
Are there any side effects?
Flower essences are not like other remedies. They do not contain active chemicals or possess pharmaceutical properties. They are best described as a sort of ‘liquid energy’, a vibrational medicine that brings about benefits by influencing each person’s own life force.
The only caution to note is that the remedy bottles usually contain 2-3ml of brandy/vodka per 30ml as a preservative. If you are sensitive to alcohol, or if the remedy bottle is for a child, then an alternative can be used.
